Tip #956: First Aid for New Trainers

If your new trainers need additional help, encouragement, or just a friendly ear- or if you’d like them to learn training design and delivery basics and techniques to handle typical training challenges, this First Aid for New Trainers program is for them.

I’ve been a trainer for over 45 years. I’ve designed and delivered highly rated skill-building training programs for managers, employees, and trainers in federal, state, and local government agencies, international agencies, private corporations, and nonprofit organizations.

Invite them to my weekly Zoom roundtable on Wednesdays from 3-4 pm CST, starting January 11, 2023. They can start the year off with the additional help and support they need.

The first half hour will focus on a key training subject or challenge and the second half hour will be open to discuss any of their training-related questions. We’re going to start January with the challenges that are difficult for any trainer, new or experienced.

On January 11th, our topic will be How to Get Participant Buy-In. On January 18th, our topic will be How to Overcome Participant Resistance. And on January 25th, our topic will be How to Get Participants to Actively Participate in Virtual Programs.

Their first visit is free. If they find it valuable, after that the price of admission per week will be $25 plus the booking fee. When they register, they’ll receive a six-step Lesson Design Checklist and the calendar of events so they know when certain topics will be discussed. They can register at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/first-aid-for-new-trainers-tickets-492093273227

Thank you for your consideration in passing this invitation along.

May your learning be sweet- and safe.

Deborah
